It's Your Reaction, Not the Situation

This is a story of two brothers. Their father was a drinker and tortured their mother every night. When they grew up, one boy become a photocopy of his father and others become the opposite. When a man asked the first boy why he has become like his father. He replied what do you expect!!! When the same question was asked to second boy, he said I have experienced what it felt to be one like my father and I chose not to be like him. The morale of this story is it doesn’t matter what you’ve experienced in life, the thing matter is how you interpret it. How you react to a situation? The situation may be not in your control. But your reaction is.
May be you are experiencing the worst situation life can throw to anyone. You can decide you are getting this, so, you’ll let other get this also. Or you can decide, what had done to me is done. And I’ll be the last person with whom this thing is happening. I would not let a single people to experience the pain I’m getting, the shame I’m exposed to, onward. Otherwise, you may decide to share your good fortune also. May be you’ve something special (actually we all have) that would be of great help for mankind. Then, share it. You have discovered a secret about life, love, happiness, let the world know about it.
You may be unloved, disrespected, unheard, let this thing end with you. Commit to yourself, to give back the opposite to others. You may ask - Why me? My reply will be - Why not you? Who can tell better than you about the feeling of not being loved, not getting respect, and not receiving attention. You are privileged to know the true essence of these things and it’s your responsibly to end these with you.
